Brand Manager - Specialty Concepts

Lids is searching for an experienced Brand Manager to work closely with our marketing, buying and store operations teams on initiatives to drive our specialty concepts, including NBA store, NHL store, PSG, and Lids shops within Macys and DSW. The ideal candidate for this position is an energetic professional who is able to multi-task effectively, offer quick and accurate advice and provide creative input to help advance our brand. Our Brand Manager will act as the creative liaison between our marketing team and the buying/merchandising and store operations teams to create programs that engage fans and drives traffic and sales across all channels.



  • Develop marketing programs to support major initiatives and seasonal events.
  • Identify marketing opportunities to drive foot traffic to our specialty stores.
  • Report on marketing campaign performance and optimize for strong ROI.
  • Maintain contact with vendors and leagues to create partnership opportunities.
  • Work with marketing to execute vendor/league omni channel campaigns.
  • Primary point of contact for specialty concepts - presenting marketing plans, preparing and presenting annual/quarterly reports, overseeing marketing calendars, and collaborating on promotions.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in B2C retail environment with strategic marketing, including campaign development and execution, product launches, promotion, advertising, digital marketing, and channel management.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate program performance and results.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze marketplace trends and suggest changes to meet or exceed business needs.
