The Communications Manager leads content creation for all outbound communication to internal and external partners.  Serves as the proverbial voice for the FLC organization in partnership with all department leads.  Is a critical member of the team, tasked with translating tactical details into broader strategic messaging.      

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops outbound communication materials in support of new business acquisition and current business reporting
  • Works closely with all internal departments on the collection of required assets for the creation of content  
  • Assists with the positioning of strategic program components  
  • Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.  
  • Communicate with teammates at all levels of the company.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience
  • Proven communication experience with an emphasis on corporate communications
  • Experience with content development and an eye for creating engaging design
  • Working knowledge of MS Office; Adobe CC Suite and other photo and video editing software is an asset
  • Excellent project management skills with an attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively in an academic and corporate setting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across many different areas of the company.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment.
