General Description

Calculates, posts business transactions, verifies financial data for use in maintaining inventory records. Works closely with vendors, FLC buying and planning teams to assure accuracy, punctuality and full expectations within inventory guidelines. Work closely with multiple business lines to assure receipt, replenishment and future expectations for in store success. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guide and lead the Inventory Accounting Team. 
  • Oversee the activities of the FLC inventory control department for the accurate and timely dissemination of inventory management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly statements and update. 
  • Responsible for executing the company’s efforts to maintain inventory integrity.  
  • Directly works with multiple departments within the supply chain, including buying and merchandising, store operations, and DC operations and produces results-based solutions to resolve discrepancies. 
  • Responsible for maintaining synchronization of warehouse inventory between BMS and WMS. 
  • Monitor inventory adjustments for accuracy. 

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with accounts payable to resolve discrepancies on invoices.  
  • Troubleshoots discrepancies by executing analysis with minimal guidance. 
  • Detail oriented and have the ability to file paperwork and maintain an organized work atmosphere.  
  • Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record.  
  • Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.  
  • Communicate with teammates at all levels of the company.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience or some college education preferred.  
  • Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.  
  • Ability to read and operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs.  
  • Sitting required for up to 90% of the daily work schedule.
  • Viewing a computer screen for up to 90% of the work time.  
  • Operating a computer keyboard for up to 90% of the work time.
