General Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst will design, analyze, audit, and support HR Systems (SAP Successfactors, Sharepoint, ADP WFN) and tools to improve/ support the operational activities within Human Resources. This role will partner closely with Retail Operations, Recruiting, Talent Management, and HR Business Partners to support requests and solve issues within the system. Responsibilities include managing and analyzing data, requirement gathering, system configurations, testing, access and permissions, supporting systems updates, reporting and analytics, data auditing, end-user training, system and process documentation, and process improvement.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

HRIS Functions: Maintain organization and position structure, manage security permission roles, configure business processes, handle data loads, create reports, and manage user access. Load mass data updates with templates and tools in HR systems

HR Operational Processes: Manage end-to-end HR operational processes through our HR systems. Process HR transactions including onboarding, job changes, personal changes, and offboarding activities.Assist with onboarding processes by reviewing applicant background checks and I-9 and E-verify compliance to determine work eligibility.

Provide Daily Support: Provide technical support for routine problems of limited scope, including troubleshooting end-user issues, researching problems, removing defects or errors, and escalating as needed. Address HRIS-related inquiries through the shared email inbox.

Create SuccessFactors Roadmap: Develop and execute an annual plan, partnering with stakeholders to achieve goals on time.

Develop User Guidelines & Reporting: Create procedures and documentation to help users leverage system functionality and automate workflows. Create and distribute standard and ad hoc reports. Ensures quality and timeliness of HR information retrieved from systems.

Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure overall data integrity and accuracy of data in systems, including ongoing reconciliation, auditing, and monitoring.

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

HRIS & Compliance Projects: Work with the HR Team in the analysis, development, implementation, and support of allocated HR projects & changes. Collaborate on projects like overhauling a SuccessFactors module, Organization chart changes, and learning and development enhancements. Assist with compliance reporting for state and federal governments, EEO-1, CA Pay data reporting, MN Annual Compliance reporting, Affirmative Action Plans, etc.

Conduct Testing: Assist in the review, testing, implementation, training, and communication of SuccessFactors system changes and upgrades including the bi-annual SuccessFactors releases.

Partner with Teams: Work with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources Business Partners, Talent Development, IT, and Finance to provide a seamless employee experience.

Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Experience & Background: 2+ years of HR experience, with a focus on HR Data, Analytics, and Systems. Experience with supporting HRIS Systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) or a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and Experience.

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HRIS Technology, including design, processes, workflows, and analytics. Advanced knowledge of Excel required (Advanced formulas, Pivot tables, and lookups)

Knowledge of HR policies and Compliance: Familiar with HR policy development, creation, and the ability to maintain those changes.

Problem Solving & Operational Skills: An inquisitive mindset, with an interest in diagnosing and resolving system/process bottlenecks by making sound recommendations for implementation. Demonstrated success in process creation, data analysis, and documentation skills. Having a Results-oriented mindset.

Project Management Skills: Managed multiple, competing project workloads and activities with multiple stakeholders.

Communication Skills: Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to articulate problems and solutions thoughtfully and thoroughly with a large remote workforce.
