General Description

The Loyalty Program Coordinator will play a critical role in evolving our existing loyalty program - leading the development of loyalty across all consumer touchpoints - focused on creating a meaningful, integrated and ongoing experience with our brand. This individual will effectively exhibit Lids’ core values and financial responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties including those as outlined by the reporting manager and the Director of Digital Marketing & Social Media:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the innovation and re-invigoration of Lids’ loyalty program
  • Identify, track, report on and steer towards improving loyalty KPI growth (i.e. membership counts, revenue generation, repurchase rates, etc.)
  • Lead the implementation of loyalty communications and positioning across all consumer touchpoints - working cross functionally with digital marketing, brand managers, creative and channel teams to ensure project accuracy, timelines and effectiveness. 
  • Lead the strategic development and execution of ongoing loyalty programs, aimed to increase participation (new members, active members, penetration rates, rewards participation, etc.), member metrics (retention, frequency, sales, ADS, etc.) and overall program engagement metrics
  • Build and maintain a loyalty program calendar tracking all marketing, offers, rewards, and support across all business units.

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the analytics team to interpret and action on customer data, leading to optimized campaigns that drive engagement and incentivize customer behavior.
  • Evaluate and optimize offer strategy - creating campaigns to incentivize engagement with the reward catalog.
  • Accountable for quarterly and annual program reporting, tracking campaign program performance and progress.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.
  • Diagnose, assess, and recommend loyalty constructs, positioning, and related CX strategies for Lids’ loyalty program.
  • Loyalty program market research and competitive assessments
  • Loyalty program financial modeling with understanding of liability management
  • Map existing and design new loyalty experiences based on expertise, data, competitive insight, and internal insights
  • Mature and develop loyalty value prop for our customers across loyalty programs, CRM, and other factors

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university and 2 - 3 years experience in loyalty management, the digital marketing field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Marketing acumen and retail experience is essential to perform duties.
  • Analytical acumen and comfort analyzing data
  • Microsoft tools experience, or equivalent.
