General Position Summary

The Campaign Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that support Lids’ core business and specialty concepts. This role drives projects across all marketing channels, as well as cross-functionally with  Buying, operations, planning and finance. This person acts as a key liaison with external partners (such as MLB, NFL, NBA, New Era, 47, Mitchell & Ness and more)  to deliver consumer-facing campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, and sales to all brick & mortar locations.

Our Campaign Marketing Manager will be responsible for understanding and driving our key priorities across top volume buys, promotional periods, and key league & hot market moments. The ideal candidate will learn & understand the business, curate strategy to maximize opportunities, and be flexible to pivot through evaluation.

 Success requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Campaign Project Management & Ownership

  • Own campaigns end-to-end, including ideation, planning,  timelines, execution, and post-campaign recaps & analytics
  • Lead campaign planning and status meetings with clear agendas, documentation, and next steps with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage multiple campaigns across varying levels of complexity, priority, and timelines
  • Build and maintain detailed timelines, project plans, and asset creation lists
  • Identify risks, solve problems proactively and independently, and escalate issues when needed to keep campaigns on track
  • Develop briefs, presentations, and reporting documentation for internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Track and manage campaign budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and payments

Strategic Campaign Leadership

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to shape campaign strategies, messaging, and execution plans
  • Independently present briefs and negotiate vendor co-op to drive partner support to amplify marketing of all products within our doors
  • Maintain strong knowledge of product assortments, customer insights, market opportunities, and business priorities to inform campaign direction
  • Monitor campaign performance and overall health, identifying opportunities to optimize or amplify impact

Communication & Collaboration

  • Ensure consistent, proactive communication with internal teams and external partners throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Deliver clear, accurate updates to maintain alignment and transparency
  • Come prepared to meetings with a strong understanding of objectives, timelines, and required inputs
  • Build positive, collaborative relationships across the organization and act as a central point of coordination. Serve as a key partner with external partners to ensure strong relationships and positive partnership to impact the business

Process & Tools

  • Serve as a power user of project management tools, ensuring tasks, timelines, dependencies, and approvals are clearly built out and maintained
  • Own and manage workflow processes within project management systems
  • Recommend and implement improvements to campaign processes, documentation standards, and operational efficiency

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Campaign Management, Go To Market, Brand Marketing, or Marketing Project Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns from planning through analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, and follow through.
  • Ability to lead cross functional workflows and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Advanced experience with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs).
  • Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
