General Description

The DC Operations Manager is a role contributing to Lids Sports Group’s success by supporting the DC staff and DC management with supply management, supply buying, warehouse management equipment control, DC reporting, Lean partnerships, Six Sigma training and other various needs. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as key stakeholder in Quoting, procuring tracking and ordering all DC supply needs
  • Continually inform and educate key DC management staff on all things related to DC administration’s needs.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain reporting related to productivity and payroll 
  • Maintain all wms equipment including wireless scanners, chargers and batteries
  • Procure and maintain all safety equipment and safety supplies.
  • Initiate and practice Lean processes in the DC offices, supply areas, and breakrooms
  • Post DC announcements, stats, work week hours and newsletters
  • Partner with DC management and Corporate Culture Team for event planning, DC luncheons, Holiday parties
  • Partner with DC management team to ensure timely completion of all annual performance and personnel reviews

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • 3 + years’ experience in Administrative and office management
  • 1+ years’ experience in procurement and inventory control
  • Six Sigma or Lean processes experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and use multiple systems including Microsoft D365, wms system, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
