General Position Summary
The Data Entry Manager is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all merchandise order data entry processes. This role manages a team of data entry specialists, ensures compliance with established procedures, resolves escalated issues, and drives process improvements to support company operations
Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of data entry specialists to ensure performance goals and accuracy standards are consistently met.

Oversee the entry of purchase orders, store transfers, and other merchandise-related data to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines and business demands.

Review reports, identify discrepancies or errors, and implement corrective actions.

Partner with cross-functional departments (e.g., Merchandising, Operations, Finance) to resolve escalated issues and missing information.

Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for data entry processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Train new team members on systems, policies, and procedures.

Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding productivity, quality metrics, and team performance.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

2–4 years of experience in data entry, operations, or related field.

Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required; familiarity with databases and reporting tools preferred).

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
