General Description

This position manages the day-to-day supervision and functions of Supply and Fixture Procurement and replacement lighting supporting LIDS.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1.    Supervise the issuance of Purchase Orders and follow up with detailed accounting measures.
2.    Focus on cost reductions and savings by enhancing business processes and productivity. 
3.    Monitor the implementation of new store supply items and create inventory controls.
4.    Works with Procurement team and Operations to ensure the highest level of service to the field.
5.    Works with Routing to resolve delivery issues regarding supply items.
6.    Monitors and manages inventory at the 3PLs partnered with by Lids.
7.    Monitors and manages internally managed supply inventory.
8.    Annual contact with supply vendors for RFP’s and vendor reviews.  Continuous negotiation for best pricing/service.
9.    Spearhead special projects as required.
10.    Attend all business-related conferences and conventions as required. 
11.    Research and learn all aspects of fixture procurement as it relates to Lids..
12.    Review invoices for accuracy before payment is made.
13.    Assist Operations with energy saving initiatives and Department goals.
14.    Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required to the Operations team.   
15.    Manages additional employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of these employees
16.    Other Duties as assigned
 

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities

*This position will be located our of our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana and will require relocation if not local*

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

1.    High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
2.    Three years of professional relevant experience 
3.    Thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement process
4.    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
5.    Effective communication skills with both internal and external contacts
6.    Communicate clearly and concisely all projects, initiatives and goals
7.    Ability to resolve conflicting situations
8.    Effectively organize and prioritize workload and work independently without close supervision
9.    Maintain a positive and professional attitude with associates and vendors
