Manager of Vendor Compliance

General Summary:
The Manager of Vendor Compliance is a role contributing to Lids Sports Group’s success by leading the vendor compliance team and elevating the level of supply chain accountability and performance our vendor partners. This individual will help manage key communications between vendors, buying and merchandising, distribution center, and field operations to ensure compliance with purchase orders and other service level agreements. This role will also be instrumental in the development and enhancement of internal procedures, including implementing additional EDI technology and workflow, to achieve a streamlined supply chain process.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key stakeholder in establishing and executing the vendor compliance program.
  • Identify and develop key strategic goals with vendors to drive efficiencies.
  • Collaborates with internal departments on vendor related projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external vendor compliance communication.
  • Maintain vendor compliance repository.
  • Continually inform and educate key business leaders on vendor compliance issues and impact to broader supply chain fulfillment.
  • Develop and enhance vendor compliance procedures, including implementing and executing EDI technology.

 

Job Required Knowledge, Skills and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain or business-related field and/or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in compliance, supply chain, project management, process improvement, business analytics or another related field.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
