This Position will be located at the Lids Distribution Center 5304 W 74th St, Indianapolis, IN 46268

General Description

Responsible for, but not limited to:  Producing custom embroidery orders from start to finish.  Checking designs, hooping hats, verifying logo colors and thread matches. Stitching headwear and apparel while assisting in quality control, shipping, organizing supplies, and maintaining an organized work area. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Producing embroidery orders
• Quality control on orders completed and shipping orders.  
• Preventative Maintenance and Troubleshooting issues with machines.
• Operate heat press machines
• Organizing supplies
• Quality control
• Ship Orders
• Reads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Sews, cuts, clips, hooks or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Track production on Sharepoint production tracker.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

• High School Diploma
• Embroidery experience preferred
• Computer knowledge, web browser navigation
• Math skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Effective communication/ comprehension skills
