General Position Summary
This position will perform administrative, reporting and accounting support functions for royalty activities at Hat World, Inc dba Lids. This position will assist the Lids business owners and external partners with topics and organization as it relates to royalty functions.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in contract administration and organization.
- Assist in data entry of royalty journal entries and activities.
- Validation of reliability of royalty reporting back to ERP system
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and remittance to royalty partnerships.
- Compile and process royalty payment packages for submission to Accounts Payable
- Maintain Royalty Matrix master data.
- Review royalty relationships for adherence to important benchmarks and timelines.
- Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance to terms/conditions in all calculations.
- Interpret contract data to equate to royalty prepaids, accruals, and reporting.
- Create and maintain standard monthly management reports to support month end close.
- Correspondence with licensors and Lids business partners to ensure integrity in royalty relationships, reporting, and to resolve royalty discrepancies.
- Various non-routine assignments and ad-hoc reports related to royalty activities.
