General Position Summary

The Business to Business (B2B) Sales Representative is responsible for expanding the reach of Lids Custom Hat Program through lead generation. Identifying potential new customers, while building on existing relationships. This role requires great communication skills, a motivated and energetic personality, paired with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The B2B Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting, developing, and maintaining customer accounts.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researching current clients who participate in Lids Custom Hat Program. Understanding their purchasing history with Lids and developing a strategy that creates continued and increased sales.
  • Analyze historic sales performance to identify new or additional areas of opportunity.
  • Identifying ways to partner with these institutions and grow Lids Custom Hat Program.
  • Researching Lids Custom Hat Program competitors and market trends to identify new lead generation opportunities.
  • Understanding prospective client’s unique apparel needs, and effectively managing a consistent sales pipeline through cold calls and consistent communication.

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a consultative resource to customers regarding service offerings, market trends, company standards and proactively develop strategies/solutions that address each client's unique challenges and needs.
  • Develop and execute a unique customer strategy for each account that provides continuous, profitable growth opportunities while honoring our core values and company vision.
  • Maintain operational efficiencies for customer’s product while communicating with Lids stores and internal departments to create production samples to provide to clients.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2-3 years sales experience.
