General Description

The ability to understand all IT Depot processes and products used within the Company as well as the ability to problem solve at a fast pace.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1. Gather requirements, recommend solutions and implement all corporate audio/video needs.

2. Subject expert assisting the Help Desk with hardware support including TV support and Installations.

3. Provide direction to and insure successful delivery TV installations to store and event locations.

4. Keep abreast of new product lines relative to Lids standards. Evaluate new products and make recommendations on hardware standards for LIDS Corp and Stores.

5. Work with current and potential service (warranty or out of warranty repair) and equipment secondary market/decommission vendors to establish best pricing and services.

6. Assist and act as a single point of contact to the LIDS Construction Department.

a. Document & maintain Construction request & fulfillment process

b. Work directly with LIDS Construction Department to develop new and potential devices.

c. Coordinate with IT and Construction teams creating documentation to support all new store and remodels needs meeting the impending ship dates.

d. Verify proper shipping of new and remodel equipment giving notification of what and when the shipments will arrive.

7. Provides ownership of the equipment decommission process. Includes keeping accurate inventories, identifying equipment that can be repaired, sold on the secondary market or needs to be scrapped. Executes repairs, sale or scrap pick up.

8. Completes all Dell warranty work responsible for gathering and documenting equipment needing repair, coordination of work to be completed with Dell and return of repaired equipment to active inventory.

9. Configure & Deliver Corp IT Equipment as needed.

10. Interface with all departments, as requested, to fulfill IT hardware needs.

11. Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

12. Provide excellent customer service as outlined in the HW&L policy manual.

13. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Associated Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in a computer related curriculum preferred. A minimum of 3 years experience supporting and maintaining various audio/visual prodcuts, computer hardware and desktop software.

2. Strong problem solving and communication skills.

3. Knowledge of the following hardware devices and internal components:

q Personal Computer and Laptops: CPU, Keyboard, Monitor, Mouse

q Peripherals: Scanners, Check readers, Receipt Printers, Laser Printers, RF-Guns, PDA, Modems, Monitors

q Audio/Visual Products

4. Knowledge of the following software systems:

q Window Operating Systems

q Microsoft Suite

q IT Systems (Track IT)
