General Position Summary

Oversee day to day functions of Operations Department to include supporting all Field Functions and acting as liaison between field and office teams.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize with field leadership to create short- and long-term field projections and objectives; Implement process for managing accountability.
  • Communicate consistently with RDs and DSMs to ensure understanding and compliance with standard operating procedures and project timelines.
  • Monitor flow, quality and quantity of data, projects and requests for information going to the field, to ensure that all is consistent with needs and goals of the field organization
  • Support field supervisors with corporate programs to include roll out, progress tracking and deadlines.
  • Partner with Field Training team to ensure timely, thorough, current programs for field associate development.
  • Coordinate and manage field organization contests and bonus programs.
  • Work with merchandising department specifically to coordinate product communications, including launches, transfers, and price changes. 
  • Communicate with employees at all levels of the company
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Prior retail, business management, or event management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advance Excel and MS Office skills
  • Strong systems capability and ability to adapt to new applications
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Active decision-making and problem-solving
  • Proven ability to perform both independently with minimal supervision, as well as be a collaborative team player
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling difficult situations
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multitask

Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Work Experience
  • Knowledgeable of in-store operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer focused and able to gain understanding of customer's requirements
  • Ability to analyze data resulting in effective course of action
  • Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills; think outside of the box; may not always know the answer, but certainly know how to find it.
