General Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all preventative scheduled maintenance tasks assigned for their given shift.  They will also be responsible for break/fix issues during their assigned shift. This role will be charged with communication to peers and management across all shifts as it pertains to maintenance work performed and/or needed. The role also is expected to be on call for off shifts when needed. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and/or provide a clean, safe work environment.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, as they pertain to maintenance duties and safety standards.
  • Primarily responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment.
  • Perform general building maintenance when required.
  • Update records as required.  This includes, but is not limited to, parts inventory, maintenance logs, and safety checks.
  • All Equipment Maintenance Technicians are required to participate in an on call rotation.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • One to two years of automation equipment maintenance experience.
  • Be able to read schematics.
  • Ability to safely test and troubleshoot electrical components and circuits.
  • Basic knowledge of compressed air systems.
  • Basic knowledge of safety regulations as they pertain to equipment/building maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
