General Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all preventative scheduled maintenance tasks assigned for their given shift. They will also be responsible for break/fix issues during their assigned shift. This role will be charged with communication to peers and management across all shifts as it pertains to maintenance work performed and/or needed. The role also is expected to be on call for off shifts when needed.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and/or provide a clean, safe work environment.
Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, as they pertain to maintenance duties and safety standards.
Primarily responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment.
Perform general building maintenance when required.
Update records as required. This includes, but is not limited to, parts inventory, maintenance logs, and safety checks.
All Equipment Maintenance Technicians are required to participate in an on call rotation.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

One to two years of automation equipment maintenance experience.
Be able to read schematics.
Ability to safely test and troubleshoot electrical components and circuits.
Basic knowledge of compressed air systems.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations as they pertain to equipment/building maintenance.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
