NOTICE TO CANDIDATES - RECRUITMENT FRAUD ALERT

OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY

We have become aware of recruitment fraud involving scammers impersonating the Lids recruitment team, posting fake job openings, and contacting job seekers with false offers. These individuals may also conduct fraudulent interviews to obtain personal and financial information or request payment for application fees, processing charges, or work permits.

WHAT IS RECRUITMENT FRAUD?

Recruitment fraud is a scam in which job seekers are offered fake employment opportunities. It is often carried out through fraudulent websites or emails that appear to come from a legitimate company. Scammers may ask for personal information or payment as part of a fake hiring process.

HOW TO IDENTIFY RECRUITMENT FRAUD

  1. Lids will never ask for money to apply for or accept a job with us.
  2. Lids follows a formal application process that includes at least one virtual or in-person interview. We do not conduct interviews or request information through instant messaging applications.
  3. The Lids Recruitment team will not ask for bank account details, tax forms, credit card information, or similar personal documents during the recruitment process.

If you are unsure about the source of a job offer, please check our job postings to verify the opportunity or your application.
If you believe you have been a victim of recruitment fraud, consider reporting the matter immediately to local law enforcement, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Lids is not responsible for fraudulent offers and encourages candidates to follow the guidance above.
